Important Places To See In And Around Dharamsala While Spending Summer Holidays

People take to spending the summer holidays in the cool weather of the Himalayas. The tourists seek to spend the summers away from the scorching heat of the plains and take to the hill stations. Dharamsala, in the state of Himachal Pradesh, is one such place which is visited by tourists from all over India. This is the place famous for being the resident town of Dalai Lama, the famed Tibetan spiritual head. The place is well connected with rail, road and air ways from different cities, including Amritsar and Pathankot in Punjab, Kangra in Himachal and even from cities like Delhi and Chandigarh. with tall statues. It also has Kalachakra temple. Outside Tibet, this is the best places to visit near Delhi and is the largest temple outside Tibet.
10. TIPA: Tibetan Institute of Performing arts is the place which is thriving with the Tibetan traditional performances of dance, music and theatre.
11. Kangra Art Museum: This museum show the rich past of the Kangra kings. It showcases numerous artefacts, arts, crafts, dresses, other clothing and many other items of the past era.
